Mikoboka is a town and commune (Malagasy:kaominina) inMadagascar. It belongs to thedistrict ofSakaraha, which is a part ofAtsimo-Andrefana Region. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 7,000 in 2001 communecensus.[2]
Only primary schooling is available. The majority 53% of the population of the commune are farmers, while an additional 42% receives their livelihood from raising livestock. The most important crop iscassava, while other important products aresweet potatoes,lima beans andrice. Services provide employment for 5% of the population.[2]
