Miguel Ruiz (born December 20, 1990)[1] is a Venezuelan professionalbasketball player forGuaros de Lara of theSuperliga Profesional de Baloncesto.
In his pro career, Ruiz has played in the2nd-tierSouth American League.
On October 10, 2023, Ruiz was announced by Argentine clubObras Sanitarias.[2]
Ruiz has been a member of the senior men'sVenezuelan national basketball team.[3] He played at the2014 South American Championship, where he won a gold medal, at the2015 FIBA Americas Championship, where he also won a gold medal, and at the2016 South American Championship, where he won another gold medal.
He also played with Venezuela at the2016 Olympic Games.[4]
