Miguel Elías Camargo Cañizales (born 5 September 1993) is a Panamanian professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forLiga Panameña clubTauro.
After a few seasons on the books ofChorrillo, Camargo moved abroad to join Salvadoran sideÁguila in January 2015.[3] He returned however to Chorrillo in June 2015.[4]
On 11 January 2017, it was announced that Camargo would be joiningMLS sideNew York City on loan, with an option to buy.[5] He scored his first goal on 31 May, in a 2–2 draw withNew England.[6]
Camargo made his debut forPanama in an August 2014friendly match againstPeru.[7]
In May 2018, Camargo was named in Panama’s preliminary 35-mansquad for the2018 FIFA World Cup inRussia.[8] However, he did not make the final 23.[9]
