Michelle Tyler (born 8 July 1958) is a British former professionaltennis player who won the singles title at theFrench Open Girls' event in 1976.
She reached the quarterfinal of the doubles event at the1976 Australian Open, partneringSue Barker, in which they lost in three sets toKathleen Harter andWendy Turnbull.[1]
Tyler was the runner-up at the 1977Kent Championships singles event after losing the final in three sets toYvonne Vermaak.[2]
In 1977 and 1978 she was a member of the British team in theWightman Cup, the annual women's team tennis competition between the United States and Great Britain. In 1977 she lost her singles rubber toRosemary Casals while the following year she won her singles rubber againstPam Shriver.[3]

Tyler retired in 1979, and worked at a department store inBromley, as well as working as a tennis coach. She subsequently emigrated to the United States.[4][5]
