Michael Glenn Sinclair (born January 31, 1968) is an American former professionalfootball player and coach. He played as adefensive end for 11 seasons in theNational Football League (NFL) with theSeattle Seahawks and thePhiladelphia Eagles. He was selected in the sixth round of the1991 NFL draft by the Seahawks.[1] Sinclair was a three-timePro Bowler in1996,1997 and1998. He led the NFL insacks in 1998 with 16.5, which is also the Seahawks single-season franchise record.[2]
After his playing career, Sinclair won theWorld Bowl as the defensive line coach for theHamburg Sea Devils inNFL Europa in 2007. He was named the defensive line coach for theMontreal Alouettes in January 2008, where he spent five seasons and won twoGrey Cup championships. On January 18, 2013, Sinclair followed Alouettes head coachMarc Trestman to theChicago Bears.[3] Sinclair was fired on January 25, 2014.[4]
