Michael Polansky is an American entrepreneur. He is engaged toLady Gaga and has co-written various songs with her.^[1][2]

Polansky was born in theU.S. state ofMinnesota.^[3] His father, Steven Polansky, is a writer^[4] and his mother, Ellen Woods, is President of the American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education.^[5][6][4]

He studiedapplied mathematics andcomputer science atHarvard University.^[7][8] He enrolled in 2002 and graduated in 2006.^[9][10]

Polansky is founder or co-founder of the companies Avos Capital Management, Hawktail, and Outer Biosciences. He is a board member of Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy and Lady Gaga's cosmetics brandHaus Labs.^[7] Polansky is theexecutive director of the Parker Foundation, which he co-founded withSean Parker in 2015.^[10][11]

Polansky was a co-executive producer of Lady Gaga's 2024 soundtrack albumHarlequin and co-wrote the songs "Get Happy", "Good Morning", "If My Friends Could See Me Now", and "Oh, When the Saints".^[12] He also has writing and production credits on Lady Gaga's 2025 studio albumMayhem.^[13][14] He and Lady Gaga also co-wrote the original song "All I Need Is Time".^[15]

Polansky has a daughter, according toTatler.^[16] As of 2025, Polansky is engaged toLady Gaga.^[17][18]
