Michael Phyland (born 29 September 1965) is a formerAustralian rules footballer who played with theSydney Swans in theVictorian Football League (VFL).

Phyland represented New South Wales atUnder 18 Championships in 1982 and won the Larke Medal.

He played four seasons for the Swans and made a total of 22 appearances.[2]

After leaving Sydney he played withRedan in theBallarat Football League and was the 1992 Henderson Medalist.
