Michael Friisdahl (born in Roskilde, Denmark)[1] is the executive chairman ofSignature Aviation, a multinational aviation services company. Friisdahl was appointed in February 2022[2] after previously serving as the president and CEO ofMaple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. He was responsible for overseeing MLSE's sports properties which includes ownership of theToronto Maple Leafs (National Hockey League),Toronto Raptors (National Basketball Association),Toronto FC (Major League Soccer),Toronto Argonauts (Canadian Football League),Toronto Marlies (American Hockey League),Raptors 905 (NBA G League) andToronto FC II (United Soccer League).

Prior to joining MLSE, Friisdahl served as president and chief executive officer of Air Canada's Leisure Group since it was formed in 2012,[3] combining Air Canada Vacations tour operations withAir Canada Rouge, a vacation and leisure airline subsidiary ofAir Canada.[4]
