Mezana orMizan is adistrict ofZabul province in southernAfghanistan.[1]

Demographics

It has a population of about 13,400 as of 2013.[1] The district is mostly populated by theHotak tribe ofGhiljiPashtuns.[2]

History

On18 May 2020, a roadsideIED planted by militants in Mezana District killed four civilians and injured nine others.[3][4]
