MDHOET, or 3,4-methylenedioxy-N-hydroxyethylamphetamine, is a lesser-knownpsychedelic drug and asubstituted amphetamine. It is also the N-hydroxyethyl analogue ofMDA. MDHOET was first synthesized byAlexander Shulgin. In his bookPiHKAL (Phenethylamines i Have Known And Loved), the minimum dosage is listed as 50mg. MDHOET produces few to no effects. Very little data exists about thepharmacology,pharmacokinetics,effects, and toxicity of MDHOET.
This substance is a Class A drug in theDrugs controlled by the UK Misuse of Drugs Act.[1]
