Methestrol dipropionate ormethoestrol dipropionate (brand nameMeprane Dipropionate), also known aspromethestrol dipropionate orpromethoestrol dipropionate or asdimethylhexestrol dipropionate, is asyntheticnonsteroidal estrogen of thestilbestrol group related todiethylstilbestrol that is or was used clinically.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] It is the dipropionate form ofmethestrol (or promethestrol), which, in contrast to methestrol dipropionate, was never marketed.[3]
