Meriana was a town ofancient Cilicia, inhabited inRoman times.[1] The name does not occur among ancient authors but is inferred fromepigraphic and other evidence.[1]

It is located inAsiatic Turkey, between theKravga andEsen neighborhoods (Mahallesi) ofGöksu village, which is part of theMut district inMersin province.[1][2]
