Meri Awas Suno (transl. Listen to my Voice) is a 2022 IndianMalayalam-languagemusical drama film[1] written and directed byPrajesh Sen and produced byB. Rakesh.[2][3] A remake ofBengali filmKonththo (2019) byNandita Roy andShiboprosad Mukherjee, it starsJayasurya,Manju Warrier andSshivada.Johny Antony,Gautami Nair andSudheer Karamana also play major roles. The film tells the story of aradio jockey andspeech therapist.
The music is byM Jayachandran and the lyrics are by BK Harinarayanan.[4] This is the first timeJayasurya andManju Warrier share the screen space.Trivandrum is the film's shooting location. Shankar, aradio jockey, is shattered when he is diagnosed withlaryngeal cancer. After finding out that he will lose his voice in the process of treatment, all hope is lost for him. However, he is aided by Dr Reshmi, aspeech therapist to accept his new life and move forward.[7]

The film received positive reviews from critics and audiences.Times of India gave 3/5 and wrote, " A survival family drama".The News Minute gave 2.5/5 and wrote, "This Manju-Jayasurya film is interesting, but too dramatised". RJ. Princy Alexander ofOnmanorama wrote "Though the movie will uplift your mood with its encouraging tone and beautiful blend of emotion, 'Meri Awaa Suno' should have taken some more time to leave a deeper effect on the audience".[16]
