Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons is the fifthstudio album by Americanalternative rock bandBlonde Redhead. It was released on June 6, 2000 byTouch and Go Records.[2][3] The album was recorded atBear Creek Studio inWoodinville, and was produced byGuy Picciotto andRyan Hadlock.

The final song onMelody of Certain Damaged Lemons, "For the Damaged Coda", is based onNocturne in F minor, Op. 55, No. 1 byFrédéric Chopin.[4] Years after the album's release, "For the Damaged Coda" gained renewed exposure after appearing in the animated TV seriesRick and Morty as the recurring theme for the characterEvil Morty.[4][5][6]
