It is found inNew Guinea and offshore islands,[1] where its naturalhabitats aresubtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moistmontane forest.[1] Long-billed honeyeaters do notmigrate.[1] The averagegeneration length of it is 5.8 years.[1]
