Melanie Liburd is an English actress. On television, she is known for her roles in theNBC dramaThis Is Us (2018–2021) and theStarz crime dramaPower Book II: Ghost (2020–2022). Her films includePerpetrator (2023).
Liburd was born to an English mother and aKittian father and grew up in Herefordshire.[1] She graduated with aBachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Design.[2] She later trained atIdentity School of Acting.[3]
Liburd made her television debut in 2012 episodes of theSky One seriesStrike Back. That same year, she was cast in a comedy pilot.[4]
In 2016, Liburd appeared as the red priestess in "No One", an episode of thesixth season of the seriesGame of Thrones.[5] She was cast in thepsychological thriller television seriesGypsy in late 2016.[6]
From 2018 to 2019, Liburd portrayed Zoe inThis Is Us. From 2020 to 2022, she portrayed Carrie Milgram inPower Book II: Ghost.[7] In 2023, Liburd provided the voice andmotion capture for Saga Anderson in theRemedy Entertainment video gameAlan Wake 2.[8]
