Town of ancient Aeolis

Melampagos (Ancient Greek:Μελανπάγος) was a town ofancient Aeolis. It is evidenced byepigraphic evidence dated to the 5th century BCE on decrees establishing boundaries between Melampagos andHeraclea.[1]

Its site is located near Gökkaya,Asiatic Turkey.[2][3]
