Mela Lee is an American voice actress based in Los Angeles who voices characters on a number of animated series, films, television shows and video games. She is best known as the voice of Jade inMortal Kombat 11. In anime, she voices lead charactersRin Tosaka, inFate/stay night as well asFate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works and the film trilogyFate/stay night: Heaven's Feel;Yuki Cross inVampire Knight; Shinku the fifth Rozen Maiden doll inRozen Maiden; andErika Karisawa in theDurarara!! series, which was broadcast onAdult Swim. In animation, she is the voice of Tikki inMiraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, which airs onDisney Channel,Disney+ andNetflix, and Kikimora inThe Owl House. In video games, she voices Lifeline inApex Legends,Rena Ryūgū inHigurashi When They Cry,Rachel Alucard in theBlazBlue series, Tiki in theFire Emblem series andSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Sharon Kreuger and Scarlet inThe Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series.

Career

Lee first got into voice acting when she auditioned forVampire Princess Miyu, but the director had her read forSaint Tail, and she was cast as the title character Meimi Haneoka, whom assumes the secret identity of Saint Tail.[1] She would later land the vampire role of Yuki Cross in theVampire Knight series andRin Tohsaka, the heroine of theFate/stay night series. She also played the lead heroine inRozen Maiden. Lee has also served as anADR voice replacement specialist in over 100 projects, includingSuicide Squad,Gotham,Detroit,Zero Dark Thirty,Atlanta, andThe Good Wife.[2]

In addition to voice acting, Lee is the lead singer, composer, and lyricist for her band Magnolia Memoir.[1] She and fellow voice actressErica Lindbeck host their own web series calledLindbeck and Lee with voice actor guests.[3]
