Medan Jaya orPenajam Medan Jaya (2008–09) orMadina Medan Jaya (2010–now) is anIndonesianfootball academy club owned by the municipal government based inMedan,North Sumatra. The club was founded in 1987 and currently competes inLiga 4.Their home ground isTeladan Stadium.
Since the club establishment in 1987, it has become a well-respected club in the era of competitionGalatama and thePremier Division as well. However, the achievements of the club started to decline in the late 1990s. Medan Jaya was relegated to theFirst Division during the1999/2000 season. It returned to the top tier but was relegated again to theSecond Division in 2004. Medan Jaya managed to win promotion toFirst Division the following season.
