Mayi-Kutuna, also speltMayaguduna,Maikudunu and other variants, is anextinctMayabic language once spoken by theMayi-Kutuna, anAboriginal Australian people of the present-dayCape York Peninsula in northernQueensland, Australia.[2]
Gavan Breen (1981) thought that theMarrago might have been a sub-group of the Mayi Kutuna people;Paul Memmott (1994) lists theMarrago language separately but gives no further detail. Their status is unconfirmed by theAIATSIS collection.[3]
