Óscar Mauricio Lizcano Arango (born August 12, 1976) is a Colombian lawyer and politician who served asMinister of Information Technologies and Communications from 2023 to 2025 under PresidentGustavo Petro.[2][3][4] Lizcano has served asGeneral Director of Administrative Department of the Presidency andPresident of the Senate.[5]
Born inMedellín,Antioquia, Lizcano holds a degree inLaws from theDel Rosario University. He was elected to theChamber of Representatives forCaldas in2006 and later as aSenator in2010, a position he held for eight years.
