Matt Suggs is an Americanindie rock musician.

Born and raised inVisalia, California,^[1] Suggs was a member ofButterglory in the 1990s before launching a solo career in 2000. He released two albums onMerge Records, whichRichie Unterberger described as "reminiscent of...The Kinks'Ray Davies".^[2] Later in the 2000s he was a founding member ofWhite Whale.
