Masatoshi Kawahara (川原 正敏,Kawahara Masatoshi; born 17 August 1960 inMihara, Hiroshima) is a Japanesemanga artist. He is best known as the author of the long-running seriesShura no Mon and its prequelShura no Toki, for which he won theKodansha Manga Award forshōnen in 1989.[1]
