Masaki Kanda (Japanese:神田 正輝,Hepburn:Kanda Masaki; born December 21, 1950) is a Japanese actor.[1][2][3][4] He is well known for his role as Doc (Akira Saijō inTaiyō ni Hoero!).[5] His ex-wife is singerSeiko Matsuda and their daughter was actressSayaka Kanda.[6]

Kanda was born on December 21, 1950, inTokyo.

He was recruited by actorYujiro Ishihara and made his television debut in 1976 withDaitokai Tatakai no Hibi.[2]

He married singerSeiko Matsuda in 1985, and they had a daughter,Sayaka Kanda, before their divorce in 1997.
