Masahiro Takashima (髙嶋 政宏 Takashima Masahiro Tokyo ) is a Japanese actor and singer.
Takashima comes from a family of actors, including his fatherTadao Takashima , his mother Hanayo Sumi, and his younger brotherMasanobu Takashima .
Takashima debuted in the 1987 filmTotto Channel Kazuki Ōmori . His part as Tsuda inBusu that same year earned him theJapan Academy Prize for Newcomer of the Year, as well as theBlue Ribbon Award , Hochi Film Award,Kinema Junpo Award, and theMainichi Film Award for Best New Actor in 1988.[ 1] Gunhed Legend of Zipang Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II Godzilla vs. Destoroyah Kakushi Toride no San-Akunin: The Last Princess The Climbers High . Takashima married stage actress Sylvia Grab in 2005.[ 5] [ 6]
Takashima's has expressed a love forrock music , especiallyprogressive rock . He is a fan ofKiss , and admitted in an interview with the Japanese weekly magazineFlash , that the first concert he attended was a Kiss show atNippon Budokan in 1978.[ 7] Rock Fujiyama King Crimson , stating that he had attended live concerts of the following groups: King Crimson,Michael Schenker Group ,Yes andAC/DC .
