Martin Ručinský (Czech pronunciation:[ˈmarcɪnˈrutʃiːnskiː]; born 11 March 1971) is aCzech former professionalice hockey player who played 16 seasons in theNational Hockey League (NHL). Ručínský was drafted by theEdmonton Oilers in the first round as the 20th overall selection in the1991 NHL Entry Draft on 22 June 1991.

Ručinský led theMontreal Canadiens in1998–99 with 17 goals. It was the first time since the1940–41 season, that the Canadiens did not have at least one twenty-goal scorer.[1] He was the last player for theQuebec Nordiques still active in professional hockey prior to his retirement in 2015.[2]

Ručinský was inducted into theCzech Ice Hockey Hall of Fame on 22 January 2019.
