TheMarkelfinger Winkel is the part ofLake Constance between the upper part of theMettnau Peninsula andMarkelfingen. It is the northwestern continuation of theGnadensee and its parent lake, theUntersee ("Lower Lake Constance"). It has an area of around one square kilometre.[1]
