Mark K. Koncar (born May 5, 1953)[1] is an American former professionalfootball player who was anoffensive tackle in theNational Football League (NFL).[2] He is a graduate ofMurray High School inMurray, Utah.[2][3][4] After graduating from high school Koncar attended theUniversity of Colorado Boulder.[5] Koncar was selected by theGreen Bay Packers in the1976 NFL draft,[5] playing for five seasons (1976,1977,1979,1980,1981) before playing for theHouston Oilers in 1982.[6] He suffered a number of injuries during his career, and missed the1978 NFL season.[6] After playing for the Oilers, he retired in July 1983.[7]
