Mario Camus García (20 April 1935 – 18 September 2021) was a Spanish film director and screenwriter.[1] He won theGolden Bear at the33rd Berlin International Film Festival withLa colmena.[2] His 1987 filmThe House of Bernarda Alba was screened in theUn Certain Regard section at the1987 Cannes Film Festival[3] and in the main competition at the15th Moscow International Film Festival.[4] His 1993 filmShadows in a Conflict was entered into the18th Moscow International Film Festival.[5]
