Marcus McMillan (born 5 May 1995) is aScottish professionalfootballer who currently plays as amidfielder forHong Kong Premier League clubEastern District.
Having started his career withHearts andAberdeen, McMillan was signed by Celtic in June 2005.[1] However, he was released only months later for sporting aLiverpool-inspired haircut.[1]
Following his release from Celtic, McMillan found himself back at Hearts, but was released in the summer of 2013.[2] He then joinedAirdrieonians on an amateur contract, playing with their under-20 side.[3] He made one appearance forThe Diamonds, coming on as a substitute for Kyle Richford in a 2–0 cup defeat toQueen of the South.[4]
In January 2018, McMillan joinedHong Kong First Division clubHKFC.
On 20 August 2025, McMillan joinedHong Kong Premier League clubEastern District.[5]
In October 2021,Brian Fok offered bribe to fellowHKFC players McMillan andJean Maciel to play an unfair match againstRangers.[6] However, McMillan and Maciel both rejected the offer and reported the matter to the club. In May 2023, theICAC arrested 11 football players, includingBrian Fok.[7]
