Travis Michael Adams (born January 19, 2000) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher for theMinnesota Twins ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

Adams played college baseball atSacramento State, logging a combined 10–6 record and 3.75 ERA with 130 strikeouts and 25 walks across 151 innings pitched.[1]

Adams was drafted by theMinnesota Twins in the 6th round, with the 189th overall selection, of the2021 Major League Baseball draft.[2] He made his professional debut with the rookie–levelFlorida Complex League Twins.

Adams split the 2022 campaign between the Single–AFort Myers Mighty Mussels and High–ACedar Rapids Kernels, accumulating a combined 6–8 record and 3.93 ERA with 108 strikeouts in100+23 innings pitched across 22 starts.[3] He spent 2023 with the Double–AWichita Wind Surge, compiling a 4–10 record and 5.66 ERA with 97 strikeouts in109+23 strikeouts over 26 games (22 starts).[4]

Adams spent 2024 with Double–A Wichita and the Triple–ASt. Paul Saints, compiling a 5–9 record and 3.90 ERA with 118 strikeouts across 127 innings pitched.[5][6] On November 19, 2024, the Twins added Adams to their40-man roster to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[7]

Adams was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul to begin the 2025 season.[8]

Matthew James Canterino (born December 14, 1997) is an American professionalbaseballpitcher for theMinnesota Twins ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

Canterino grew up inSouthlake, Texas and attendedCarroll Senior High School. He was named the District 7-6A Pitcher of the Year as a senior after posting 7–1 record with 57 strikeouts and an 0.64 ERA.[9]

Canterino played college baseball for the Rice Owls, where he was a starting pitcher for three seasons. He was named first team All-Conference USA after going 7–5 with 3.06 ERA and 116 strikeouts against 22 walks in 94 innings.[10] As a junior, he went 6–5 with a 2.81 ERA and 121 strikeouts in99+13 innings pitched and was named the Conference USA Pitcher of the Year in addition to repeating as a first team all-conference selection.[11][12] In 2018, he playedcollegiate summer baseball with theFalmouth Commodores of theCape Cod Baseball League, and was named a league all-star.[13]

Canterino was drafted in the 2nd round, with the 54th overall selection, of the2019 Major League Baseball draft by theMinnesota Twins.[14] After signing with the team, he was initially assigned to the rookie-levelGulf Coast League Twins before being promoted to the Single-ACedar Rapids Kernels of theMidwest League.[15] He did not play in a game in 2020 due to cancellation of the minor league season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic.[16] He pitched only 23 innings in 2021 for Cedar Rapids and the High-AFort Myers Mighty Mussels due to injury.[17]

Canterino was assigned to the Double-AWichita Wind Surge to begin the 2022 season. In34+13 innings pitched, he posted a 1.83 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with 50 strikeouts and 22 walks. On August 10, 2022, it was announced that Canterino would needTommy John surgery, causing him to miss the remainder of the 2022 season and likely all of the 2023 season.[18] On November 15, the Twins added Canterino to their40-man roster to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[19]

Canterino was optioned to Double-A Wichita to begin the 2023 season.[20] However, he did not appear in a game as he continued his recovery from surgery. Canterino was optioned to the Triple–ASt. Paul Saints to begin the 2024 season.[21] He missed the entirety of the season due to a rotator cuff strain that he suffered in spring training. Canterino was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul to begin the 2025 season.[22] However, on March 16, 2025, it was announced that Canterino would undergo season-ending surgery to "tighten" ligaments in his throwing shoulder.[23]

Diego Armando Cartaya (born September 7, 2001) is a Venezuelanprofessional baseballcatcher for theMinnesota Twins ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

Cartaya was rated as MLB Pipeline's top international prospect when he signed with theLos Angeles Dodgers on July 2, 2018.[24] He made his professional debut in 2019 with the DodgersArizona League affiliates, hitting .281 in 41 games.[25] He was rated as the Dodgers ninth best prospect going into the 2020 season.[26] and was added to the Dodgers 60-man player pool for the pandemic affected season.[27] In 2021, with theRancho Cucamonga Quakes he appeared in 31 games and hit .298 with 10 homers and 31 RBI.[25] However, he was placed on the injured list on August 1 with a strained hamstring and missed the rest of the season.[28] He was selected to represent the Dodgers at the 2022All-Star Futures Game.[29] Cartaya was selected by the Dodgers as their 2022 Branch Rickey Minor League Player of the Year.[30] He appeared in 33 games for the Quakes and 62 games for theGreat Lakes Loons, hitting a combined .254 with 22 home runs and 72 RBI.[25]

On November 15, 2022, the Dodgers added Cartaya to their40-man roster to protect him from theRule 5 draft,[31] and assigned him to the Double-ATulsa Drillers to begin the 2023 season.[32] With Tulsa, he played in 93 games, hitting .189 with 19 homers and 57 RBI.[25] Cartaya was again optioned to Double–A Tulsa to begin the 2024 season.[33] He was promoted to the Triple-AOklahoma City Baseball Club on June 25.[34] Between the two levels, he played in 95 games, batting .221 with 11 homers and 52 RBI.[25] Cartaya wasdesignated for assignment on January 3, 2025 and removed from the roster.[35]

Following the 2024 season, Cartaya playedwinter league baseball for theTiburones de La Guaira of theVenezuelan Professional Baseball League.[36]

On January 9, 2025, the Dodgers traded Cartaya to theMinnesota Twins in exchange for minor leaguer Jose Vasquez.[37] He was optioned to the Triple-ASt. Paul Saints to begin the season.[38]

Andrew Cossetti (born January 31, 2000) is an Americanprofessional baseballcatcher in theMinnesota Twins organization.

Cossetti grew up inEagleville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and attendedLa Salle College High School. He was named the Player of the Year byThe Philadelphia Inquirer as a senior after batting .449 with seven home runs, 12 doubles, 34 runs scored, and 36 RBIs.[39] Cossetti playedcollege baseball atSaint Joseph's for four seasons. As a senior, he batted .327 and set school records with 19 home runs and 65 RBIs.[40]

Cossetti was selected in the 11th round by theMinnesota Twins in the2022 Major League Baseball draft.[41] After signing with the team he was assigned to theFlorida Complex League Twins. Cossetti began the 2023 season with theFort Myers Mighty Mussels.[42] He was named the Florida State League Player of the Month for April.[43]

Christian Joseph Culpepper (born November 2, 2001) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theMinnesota Twins organization.

Culpepper attendedRancho Cucamonga High School inRancho Cucamonga, California and playedcollege baseball atCalifornia Baptist University. He was drafted by theMinnesota Twins in the 13th round of the2022 Major League Baseball Draft.[44]

Culpepper signed with the Twins and made his professional debut with theFlorida Complex League Twins. He pitched 2023 with theFort Myers Mighty Mussels before being promoted to theCedar Rapids Kernels.[45]

Payton Lee Eeles (born November 16, 1999) is an American professionalbaseballinfielder in theMinnesota Twins organization.

Eeles attendedAllatoona High School inAcworth, Georgia and playedcollege baseball atCedarville University andCoastal Carolina University. After going undrafted in 2023, he signed with theChicago Dogs of theAmerican Association of Professional Baseball. In 2024, he played in six games for theSouthern Maryland Blue Crabs of theAtlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) before having his contract purchased by theMinnesota Twins.[46]

Eeles started his Twins career with theFort Myers Mighty Mussels before being promoted to theCedar Rapids Kernels andSt. Paul Saints.[47]

Gabriel Jesús González (born January 4, 2004) is a Venezuelanprofessional baseballoutfielder in theMinnesota Twins organization.

González signed with theSeattle Mariners as an international free agent in February 2021.[48] He made his professional debut that year with theDominican Summer League Mariners.

González started 2022 with theArizona Complex League Mariners before being promoted to theModesto Nuts. He started 2023 with Modesto and was promoted to theEverett AquaSox in July.[49][50]

On January 29, 2024, the Mariners traded González,Anthony DeSclafani,Justin Topa, Darren Bowen, and cash considerations to theMinnesota Twins in exchange forJorge Polanco.[51]

William Christopher Holland (born April 18, 1998) is an Americanprofessional baseballshortstop in theMinnesota Twins organization.

Holland graduated fromCollins Hill High School inSuwanee,Georgia.[52] As a senior, he hit .436 with two home runs and 13 stolen bases.[53] Undrafted out of high school in the2016 Major League Baseball draft, he enrolled atAuburn University to playcollege baseball for theAuburn Tigers.

As a freshman at Auburn in 2017, Holland batted .209 with three home runs and 18 RBIs in 45 games.[54] He was named theSEC Freshman of the Week for the week of March 13–19 after going 6 for 15 at the plate, hitting one home run with four RBIs and three runs scored.[55] He played in thePerfect Game Collegiate Baseball League that summer.[56] In 2018, as a sophomore, Holland had a breakout year in which heslashed .313/.406/.530 with 12 home runs and 52 RBIs in 66 games.[57][58][59] He was named to the All-SEC Second Team and to the ABCA All-South Region Team.[60][61] After the season, he played in theCape Cod Baseball League for theHyannis Harbor Hawks along with playing for theUSA Baseball Collegiate National Team.[62][63] Prior to the 2019 season, Holland was named a preseason All-American by multiple outlets including Perfect Game and D1Baseball.com.[64][65] He struggled his junior year, finishing the season batting .246 with nine home runs and 35 RBIs over 64 games.[66]

Holland was selected by theMinnesota Twins in the fifth round of the2019 Major League Baseball draft,[67] and he signed for $575,000.[68] He made his professional debut with theElizabethton Twins of theRookie-levelAppalachian League, batting .192 with seven home runs, 16 RBIs, and eight stolen bases over 36 games.[69] He did not play a minor league game in 2020 since the season was cancelled due to theCOVID-19 pandemic.[70] For the 2021 season, Holland was assigned to theFort Myers Mighty Mussels of theLow-A Southeast, slashing .214/.336/.401 with ten home runs, 27 RBIs, and 19 stolen bases over 76 games.[71] He was assigned to theCedar Rapids Kernels of theHigh-AMidwest League to begin the 2022 season.[72] In early August, he was promoted to theWichita Wind Surge of theDouble-ATexas League.[73] Over 116 games between the two teams, he slashed .227/.339/.366 with nine home runs, 49 RBIs, and 32 stolen bases.[74] Holland returned to Wichita for the 2023 season, playing in 101 games and batting .197 with five home runs, 35 RBIs, and thirty stolen bases.[75]

Ryan Austin Jensen (born November 23, 1997) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theMinnesota Twins organization. He playedcollege baseball atFresno State University.[76][77][78]

Jensen attendedSalinas High School inSalinas, California. In 2016, as a senior, he went 2–5 with a 2.75 ERA.[79] He was not drafted in the2016 Major League Baseball draft, thus enrolling atFresno State University. He struggled as a freshman in 2017 and as a sophomore in 2018, posting ERAs of 6.60 and 5.35, respectively.[80] He broke out as a junior in 2019, going 12–1 with a 2.88 ERA in 16 games and being namedMountain West Conference Pitcher of the Year.[81][82]

Jensen was selected by theChicago Cubs with the 27th overall pick in the2019 Major League Baseball draft.[83][84][85] He signed with the Cubs for $2 million and was assigned to theEugene Emeralds.[86][87][88] Over six starts, he compiled a 2.25 ERA, striking out 19 over 12 innings.[89] He did not play a minor league game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season caused by theCOVID-19 pandemic.[90] Jensen split the 2021 season between theSouth Bend Cubs andTennessee Smokies, going 3–7 with a 4.16 ERA and ninety strikeouts over eighty innings.[91] He was selected to play in theArizona Fall League for theMesa Solar Sox after the season.[92] On November 15, 2022, the Cubs added Jensen to their40-man roster to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[93]

Jensen was optioned to the Double-ATennessee Smokies to begin the 2023 season.[94] In 30 games split between Tennessee and the Triple–AIowa Cubs, he accumulated a 2–7 record and 5.77 ERA with 66 strikeouts in 53.0 innings of work.[95]

On August 8, 2023, Jensen was claimed off waivers by theSeattle Mariners.[96] In 13 games for the Triple–ATacoma Rainiers, he pitched to a 3.18 ERA with 12 strikeouts across11+13 innings of work. On November 22, Jensen wasdesignated for assignment by the Mariners.[97]

On November 27, 2023, Jensen was claimed off waivers by theMiami Marlins.[98] On December 20, Jensen was designated for assignment following the acquisition ofRoddery Muñoz[99] and claimed off waivers by theMinnesota Twins on January 4, 2024.[100] The Twins designated him for assignment on February 2, 2024[101] and later outrighted him to the Triple–ASt. Paul Saints on February 6.[102]

Cory Andrew Lewis (born October 9, 2000) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theMinnesota Twins organization.

Lewis attendedMarina High School inHuntington Beach, California. As a senior at Marina, he went 3–0 with a 0.88 ERA over 39 innings alongside batting .258 with two home runs.[103] He went undrafted in the2019 Major League Baseball draft and enrolled atUniversity of California, Santa Barbara where he playedcollege baseball.

Lewis redshirted the 2020 season. For the 2021 season, he appeared in 15 games (making ten starts) and went 7–4 with a 3.38 ERA and 86 strikeouts over eighty innings.[104] As a redshirt sophomore in 2022, he started 16 games and went 9–1 with a 3.57 ERA and 107 strikeouts.[105] He was selected by theMinnesota Twins in the ninth round of the2022 Major League Baseball draft.[106][107][108]

Lewis signed with the Twins and made his professional debut in 2023 with theFort Myers Miracle.[109] In early June, he was promoted to theCedar Rapids Kernels.[110][111][112] Over 22 starts between the two teams, Lewis went 9–4 with a 2.49 ERA and 118 strikeouts over101+13 innings.[113]

Andrew Burke Morris (born September 1, 2001) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher in theMinnesota Twins organization.

Morris attendedMonarch High School inLouisville, Colorado. He playedcollege baseball atColorado Mesa University for three years before transferring toTexas Tech University, where he played on year.[114] He was selected by theMinnesota Twins in the fourth round of the2022 Major League Baseball Draft.[115][116]

Morris signed with the Twins and made his professional debut with theFlorida Complex League Twins. He pitched 2023 withFort Myers Mighty Mussels andCedar Rapids Kernels. He started 2024 with Cedar Rapids before being promoted to theWichita Wind Surge.[117][118]

Marco Antonio Raya (born August 7, 2002) is an Americanprofessional baseballpitcher for theMinnesota Twins ofMajor League Baseball (MLB).

Raya attendedUnited South High School inLaredo, Texas, where he played baseball.[119] He committed to playcollege baseball atTexas Tech.[120] He was selected by theMinnesota Twins in the fourth round with the 128th overall selection of the2020 Major League Baseball draft. He signed with the team for $410,000.[121][122]

Raya did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic, and did not play in 2021 due to lingering shoulder issues.[123] Raya made his professional debut in 2022 with the Single–AFort Myers Mighty Mussels.[124] He missed a brief period during the season after getting his wisdom teeth removed.[125] Over 19 games (17 starts) with Fort Myers, he went 3–2 with a 3.05 ERA and 76 strikeouts over 65 innings.[126] Raya opened the 2023 season with the High–ACedar Rapids Kernels and was promoted to the Double–AWichita Wind Surge in early July.[127] Over 22 starts between the two teams, Raya went 0–4 with a 4.02 ERA and 65 strikeouts over62+23 innings.[113]

Raya split 2024 between Wichita and the Triple–ASt. Paul Saints, compiling a 3–4 record and 4.05 ERA with 103 strikeouts across97+23 innings pitched. Following the season, the Twins added Raya to their40-man roster to protect him from theRule 5 draft.[128]

Raya was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul to begin the 2025 season.[129]

Kala'i Ho'okele Rosario (born July 2, 2002) is an American professionalbaseballoutfielder in theMinnesota Twins organization.

Rosario attendedWaiakea High School inHilo, Hawaii. He was drafted by theMinnesota Twins in the fifth round of the2020 Major League Baseball Draft.[130] He signed with the Twins and made his professional debut that year with theFlorida Complex League Twins.

Rosario played 2022 with theFort Myers Mighty Mussels and started 2023 with theCedar Rapids Kernels.[131][132] He won the 2023Midwest League Most Valuable Player Award with Ceder Rapids.[133]

José Antonio Salas (born April 15, 2003) is an Americanprofessional baseballinfielder in theMinnesota Twins organization.

Salas signed with theMiami Marlins as an international free agent in July 2019.[138]

Salas made his professional debut in 2021 with theFlorida Complex League Marlins, before being promoted to theJupiter Hammerheads after 28 games.[139] He started 2022 with Jupiter, before his promotion to the Beloit Sky Carp.[140]

Several of Salas's relatives have also playedMinor League Baseball.[141]

On January 20, 2023, Salas,Pablo López, and Byron Chourio were traded to theMinnesota Twins forLuis Arráez.[142]

Tanner George Schobel (born June 4, 2001) is an Americanbaseballshortstop who plays in theMinnesota Twins organization.

Schobel grew up inWilliamsburg, Virginia and attendedWalsingham Academy.[143] He began playing for the school's varsity baseball team in the eighth grade.[144] Schobel playedsummer collegiate baseball after graduating high school for thePeninsula Pilots of theCoastal Plain League.[145]

Schobel started all 52 of Virginia Tech's games during his freshman season and batted .279 with seven home runs, ten doubles, 33 RBIs, and 36 runs scored.[146] After the 2021 season he played for theBourne Braves of theCape Cod Baseball League.[147][148] As a sophomore, Schobel hit .362 with 19 home runs and 74 RBIs.[149]

Schobel was selected in the Competitive Balance section of the second round of the2022 Major League Baseball draft.[150] He signed with the Twins for a bonus just over $1 million on July 26, 2022.[151]

Yunior Severino (born October 3, 1999) is a Dominicanprofessional baseballinfielder in theMinnesota Twins organization.

Severino originally signed with theAtlanta Braves as an international free agent in July 2016. He played his first professional season in 2017 with theDominican Summer League Braves andGulf Coast Braves. After the season, he was declared a free agent after the Braves were penalized for violations in the international free agent market.[152] Shortly after, he signed with theMinnesota Twins.[153]

In his first year with the Twins in 2018, Severino played with the rookie–levelElizabethton Twins.[154] He played for the rookie–levelGulf Coast Twins and Single–ACedar Rapids Kernels in 2019. Severino did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of theCOVID-19 pandemic.[155] Severino returned in 2021 to play for the Single–AFort Myers Mighty Mussels and Cedar Rapids. He played 2022 with Cedar Rapids and Double–AWichita Wind Surge.[156]

On November 6, 2023, the Twins added Severino to their40-man roster to prevent him from reaching minor league free agency.[157] He was optioned to the Triple–ASt. Paul Saints to begin the 2024 season.[158] In 128 games for the Saints, Severino slashed .254/.342/.434 with 21 home runs and 79 RBI. On November 4, he was removed from the 40–man roster and sent outright to St. Paul.[159] Severino elected free agency the next day.[160]

On November 18, 2024, Severino re–signed with the Twins organization on a minor league contract.[161]
