Marco Brescianini (born 20 January 2000) is an Italian professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forSerie A clubFiorentina, on loan fromAtalanta.

Club career

Early club careers

Coming through theyouth system, Brescianini made his first team debut forAC Milan aged 20, on 1 August 2020, replacingIsmaël Bennacer after 66 minutes in a 3−0 home win againstCagliari in theSerie A.[1][2] On 7 July 2023, AC Milan announced that it sold Brescianini toFrosinone.[3]

On 29 August 2020, Brescianini was sent toSerie B clubVirtus Entella on loan until 30 June 2021.[4] On 10 June 2021, he joined Serie B clubMonza on a one-year loan.[5] He made his debut on 14 August in a 2–1Coppa Italia defeat againstCittadella in the first round.[6] On 7 August 2022, Brescianini moved on loan again, this time joining Serie B clubCosenza on a one-year loan.[7]

Frosinone

On 7 July 2023, Brescianini joined newly-promotedSerie A club Frosinone, signing a contract until June 2027.[8] On 29 October, he scored his first goal for Frosinone in a 4–3 away loss againstCagliari.[9] On 2 December 2023, he scored a goal from a free kick againstAC Milan, once his parent club, in a 3–1 loss for Frosinone atSan Siro.[10]

Atalanta

On 16 August 2024, Brescianini joinedAtalanta on loan, with an option and conditional obligation to buy.[11] On 19 August, he scored two goals in his debut match againstLecce.[12]

Loan to Fiorentina

On 9 January 2026, Brescianini moved toFiorentina on loan, with an option to buy and a conditional obligation to buy.[13]

International career

On 7 September 2021, Brescianini debuted with theItaly U21 squad, playing as a substitute in a 1–0qualifying victory againstMontenegro.[14] On 6 September 2024, he debuted for theItaly national team in aNations League match againstFrance at theParc des Princes, replacingFederico Dimarco in the 81st minute as Italy won 3–1.[15]
