Marc Spindler (born November 28, 1969) is an American former professionalfootball player who was adefensive tackle anddefensive end for nine seasons in theNational Football League (NFL). He was selected by theDetroit Lions in the third round of the1990 NFL draft with the 62nd overall pick.[2] Since retiring from football, Spindler has worked for bothWDFN andWXYT, two Detroit area sports talk radio stations.
In 1986, Spindler was named USA Today High School Defensive Player of the Year.
Spinder's son,Rocco, is acollege footballoffensive lineman for theNebraska Cornhuskers.[3]
