Marc Bernhard (born 5 February 1972) is a German politician for theAlternative for Germany (AfD), and since 2017 member of theBundestag, the federal legislative body.
Bernhard was born in 1972 in the west German town ofReutlingen and studiedjurisprudence at theUniversity of Augsburg and became alawyer.[1] He worked as CEO of an IT-company in Karlsruhe.[2]
Bernhard was member of the centre-rightChristian Democratic Union of Germany before he entered the then newly founded AfD in 2013.[3]
Since 2017 he is member of the Bundestag.[4]
Bernhard denies thescientific consensus on climate change.[5]
