Manuela Paví Sepúlveda (Spanish:[maˈnwelapaˈβiseˈpulβeða];[2] born 23 December 2000) is a Colombian professionalfootballer who plays as aforward for EnglishWomen's Super League clubWest Ham United and theColombia women's national team.
Paví was born in the village ofPradera inValle del Cauca Department. She started out playing soccer on boys' teams. She scored a goal in her professional debut forOrsomarso [es] in 2018.[3]
She signed withDeportivo Cali during the COVID-19 pandemic. She recorded two goals and one assist in six games as Cali made it to the quarterfinals in2020. She was one of Cali's top players as they won the league in2021. In the first leg of the final, she scored a goal, assisted two others, and drew a penalty in the 4–1 win againstSanta Fe, before Cali won 6–3 on aggregate.[3] She scored five goals in the knockout tournament, second-most behind teammateCatalina Usme, and led the tournament with six assists.[4]
She signed with Brazilian clubAtlético Mineiro in January 2023.[5]
In August 2024, Paví signed forWest Ham United Women on a three-year contract.[6]
Paví was first called up to theColombia senior national team at the age of 18.[3] She made her international debut in friendly game againstArgentina on 9 November 2019, substituting in the 88th minute of the 1–0 loss. She played for thenational under-20 team at the2020 South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship, helping the team qualify for the final stage which was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[3]
Pavítore her ACL at a national team camp in October 2021.[7] She did not play at the2023 FIFA Women's World Cup due to injury.[8] Paví was called up to the Colombia squad for the2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup.[9] In her first tournament for Colombia, she scored a brace againstPanama in the opening match of the2024 CONCACAF W Gold Cup.[10] She was selected to the roster for the2024 Summer Olympics in France.[11]
