Manuel Pucciarelli (born 17 June 1991) is an Italianfootballer who plays as asecond striker orattacking midfielder forSerie C Group B clubVis Pesaro.
Pucciarelli first began playing football in Jolly Montemurlo's youth sector.[1] At 10 years old, he moved toEmpoli;[2] he played for their youth team in the 2009–10Campionato Primavera final, scoring a goal in a 2–1 defeat toGenoa.[citation needed]
On 29 May 2011, Pucciarelli made hisfirst-team debut in a 1–1 draw againstVicenza, replacingMirko Valdifiori in the 60th minute.[3] On 22 January 2012, he moved on loan toLega Pro Seconda Divisione sideGavorrano,[4] scoring 10 goals (including abrace againstL'Aquila)[5] in 17 appearances.[6]
After his promotion to theSerie A with Empoli, Pucciarelli made his top flight debut againstUdinese on 31 August 2014, replacingLevan Mchedlidze in the 83rd minute.[7] He scored his first Serie A goal on 23 September againstAC Milan.[8]
On 11 July 2017, Pucciarelli was sent on a two-year loan toChievo, with obligation for purchase.[9]
On 31 January 2020, Pucciarelli joinedPescara on loan until the end of the2019–20 season.[10]
On 20 January 2021, Pucciarelli was loaned toDibba Al-Furjarah in theUAE First Division League.[11]
In September 2021, Pucciarelli joined Australian clubMelbourne City on a two-year deal.[12]
On 22 November 2022, Pucciarelli signed forSerie C clubVis Pesaro as a free transfer, agreeing a contract until the end of the season with an option to extend.[13]
Pucciarelli is asecond striker, who can also play as anattacking midfielder.[14] He is good at creating attacking opportunities for his teammates, and is known for his endurance and pressing the opposing ball carrier.[15]
