Manoj BadaleOBE[1] (born 31 December 1967) is a British Indian businessman and venture business builder. He is the co-founder and managing partner of venture builder firm Blenheim Chalcot,[2] and lead owner ofIndian Premier League franchiseRajasthan Royals, the South African SA20 FranchisePaarl Royals and the CaribbeanCPL franchiseBarbados Royals.
Badale was born inDhule, to a rich MaharashtrianMarathi speaking family. He attended Habedashers' Aske's Boys' School before attending theUniversity of Cambridge, where he studiedeconomics.[3]
Badale founded the IT services companyAgilisys in 1998.
In June 2018, Badale was appointed an OBE for services to the economy and charity.[1]
