The series is created, written and executive produced byJames Wood.[2] It is a co-production between Expectation Entertainment and Tailspin Films forAmazon Prime Video.[3]
Filming took place over 18 weeks, starting inLondon in February 2024 and also taking place inParos, and was completed in July 2024.[4]
The cast is led byJack Whitehall withDavid Duchovny andCarice van Houten. The younger cast includesHarry Gilby,Teddie Allen and Phoenix Laroche.[5]
The series premiered with all six episodes on 14 November 2025.[6]
The series holds a 48% approval rating on review aggregatorRotten Tomatoes, based on 21 critic reviews. The website's critics consensus reads, "Severely lacking narrative momentum, this latest eat-the-rich caper only manages to strand its audience at sea withMalice."[7] However,Lucy Mangan inThe Guardian praised the show as "The White Lotus meetsThe Talented Mr Ripley... a great ride, and Whitehall acquits himself well in his first lead dramatic role".[8]
