TheMalian Football Federation (French:Fédération Malienne de Football, FMF) is the governing body of football inMali, organizing and governing allfootball leagues in the country. It joinedCAF in 1963 and has been affiliated withFIFA since 1964.[2] Its first general secretary wasGaran Fabou Kouyate.[citation needed]
The federation bureau was dissolved in July 2005 due to theMalian national football team's poor performance during theFIFA World Cup and theAfrican Nations Cup qualifying.[citation needed]
The federation was suspended by FIFA on 17 March 2017.[3]
