Makurap (Macurapi) is aTupian language ofBrazil, spoken by the Makurap people ofRondônia. Portuguese is now the primary language of the younger Makurap; older members of Indigenous peoples in the region use Makurap during 'chichada' festivals wherechicha is communally consumed.[2]
