Malaysian electoral constituency
Mahkota is a state constituency inJohor, Malaysia, that is represented in theJohor State Legislative Assembly.[1]
The state constituency was first contested in 2004 and is mandated to return a single Assemblyman to the Johor State Legislative Assembly under thefirst-past-the-post voting system. It has been represented bySyed Hussien Syed Abdullah ofBarisan Nasional (BN) since 2024.
As of 2020, Mahkota has a population of 104,148 people.[2]
According to the gazette issued on 30 March 2018, the Mahkota constituency has a total of 18 polling districts.[3]
