Mahdi Salem Al-Mejaba (born 4 April 2004) is aQatari professionalfootballer who plays as anattacking midfielder orwinger for Qatari clubUmm Salal, on loan fromAl-Sadd and theQatar national football team.
On 23 September 2021, Salem made his professional debut withAl-Sadd in aQatar Stars League game againstAl-Rayyan.[2]
On 28 August 2023, he was transferred toAl-Shamal.[3]
In June 2023, Salem was named inQatar national team preliminary squad for the2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup.[4] At first, he was dropped from the final 23-men squad but later replaced injuredAhmed Alaaeldin.[5] He made his international debut in the group stage game againstMexico and also appeared in the quarter-final game againstPanama.[6]
