Magnus Landin Jacobsen (born 20 August 1995) is a Danish professionalhandballer forTHW Kiel and theDanish national team.[1]
He is the younger brother of fellow Danish national team playerNiklas Landin Jacobsen.[2]
Landin won the 2013Men's Youth World Handball Championship along the Danish youth national team, defeating Croatia 32–26 inOT.[3]
In 2013 Landin signed withNordsjælland Håndbold transferring fromHIK.
In 2014 it was announced that Landin had signed a two-year contract withKIF Kolding København starting at the begin of the 2014–15 season.[4] He won his first Danish championship the first year at KIF Kolding Copenhagen.
On 17 November 2017,KIF Kolding København announced that Landin would leave the club at the end of the 2017–18 season. Later same day, it was announced that he would joinTHW Kiel on a two-year contract starting at the begin of the 2018–19 season.[5] His brother,Niklas Landin, already played at the club.[2]
Landin made his debut for theDanish national team on 10 June 2015 in a match againstLithuania. He won gold medals at three world cups in a row, at the2019,2021 and2023 World Championships.[6][7] He also won gold at the2024 Olympics.
