Maggie Vespa is an American journalist and a correspondent forNBC News.[1][2] Before being hired byNBC, she had worked atKGW, the NBCaffiliate station inPortland, Oregon, from 2014 to 2022, and had previously worked forKGUN, inTucson, Arizona, and atWEEK/WHOI inPeoria, Illinois.[3]

Personal

Vespa grew up in Peoria, Illinois, and graduated fromDunlap High School. She later graduated from theUniversity of Illinois.[1] In the 1970s, her mother, Kay Vespa, worked as a reporter and anchorperson for a Peoria television station.[1]
