Magdi Abdelghani Sayed Ahmed (Arabic:مَجْدِيّ عَبْد الْغَنِيّ سَيِّد أَحْمَد; born 27 July 1959) is an Egyptian retired professionalfootballer who played as anattacking midfielder.[1]
Abdelghani won 50 caps forEgypt, and at the1990 FIFA World Cup inItaly he scored a penalty againstNetherlands.[2]
He also competed at the1984 Summer Olympics,[3] and helped thePharaohs win the1986 African Cup of Nations on home soil. He also won an All-African Games gold medal in1987.[4]
