Magalie Pottier (born 16 March 1989 inVallet) is a French racingcyclist who represents France inBMX. She was selected to represent France at the2012 Summer Olympics in thewomen's BMX event and finished in seventh place.[1]
Pottier is coached byFabrice Vettoretti.[2] In 2012, she won both the French and worldBMX championships, giving her a total of seven French championships, eleven European championships and seven world championships.[3] She won theWorld Junior Championship in 2007.[4] She began competing in BMX in 1996 as a 7-year-old and was France's reserve rider for the2008 Olympics.[4] In June 2015, she competed in theinaugural European Games, forFrance incycling, more specifically, Women's BMX. She earned a silver medal.[5]
