Macintosh Font X is acharacter encoding which is used byKermit to represent text on theApple Macintosh (but not by standard Mac OS fonts). It is a modification ofMac OS Symbol to include all characters inDEC Special Graphics and theDEC Technical Character Set (unifying the ⎷ and √ from the Technical Character Set).[1]
