Mitochondrially encoded tRNA methionine also known asMT-TM is atransfer RNA which in humans is encoded by themitochondrialMT-TMgene.[1]

MT-TM is a small 68 nucleotideRNA (human mitochondrial map position 4402-4469) that transfers the amino acidmethionine to a growingpolypeptide chain at theribosome site ofprotein synthesis duringtranslation.
