TheMPBL Defensive Player of the Year award is an annualMaharlika Pilipinas Basketball League award given to the player with the best defensive performance in the regular season. It was first awarded during the2018–19 MPBL season.
As of 2025, five players have won the award, withMark Yee being the only recipient to have won the award more than once. Yee is also the only recipient who has also wonFinals Most Valuable Player. The most recent recipient wasAntonio Bonsubre Jr.
