Transcription factor Maf, also known asproto-oncogene c-Maf orV-maf musculoaponeurotic fibrosarcoma oncogene homolog, is atranscription factor that in humans is encoded by theMAFgene.[5][6]

Types

[edit]

One type,MafA, also known asRIPE3b1,[7] promotespancreatic development, as well asinsulin gene transcription.[8]
